Students have 20 minutes per day set aside to spend with their class in 'PD Time.' In this time, they discuss upcoming events, solve problems, make plans, and complete activities together such as these stretches to get small bodies moving!

Positive Discipline

The Positive Discipline (PD) Parenting and Classroom Management Model is based on the work of Alfred Adler and Rudolf Dreikurs, adapted for the school environment by Jane Nelsen. The PD program is designed to teach young people to become responsible, respectful and resourceful members of their communities.

PD teaches important social and life skills in a manner that is respectful and encouraging for both children and adults. Parents and teachers who show understanding and compassion will encourage cooperation, positive behavior and problem solving skills in young people.
